Skyridge Elementary School, home of the Falcons, is a place where students soar! Our school has its roots in the original Auburn Grammar School and Lincoln Way School. In 1990, Skyridge moved to its present location, housed in portables until construction was completed in 1994. Skyridge serves students in Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
Skyridge students are served by a fully credentialed staff consisting of one principal, 15 classroom teachers, one RSP teacher, and the following part-time specialists: a library technician, a speech therapist, a psychologist, a mental health specialist, a physical education teacher and a band/music teacher.
Skyridge has a Parent Teacher Club (PTC) that actively supports our staff and students. Many of the accomplishments of the students and school are made possible through the financial support and effort of the PTC volunteers. PTC provides funds for student assemblies, classroom supplies, student awards, family events, classroom Art Docents, and informational educational programs for parents, students and teachers. PTC meetings are announced on the Skyridge PTC website, AUSD SR Facebook, Class Dojo, School Marquee, and the Administration sends out weekly emails to parents and guardians.
Skyridge students participate in a variety of activities throughout the school year such as Falcon Student Leadership, Morning Mile, Cross Country, Track, Drama, Dance, Destination Imagination, Math League, Change Makers Club, Chess Club, Student Council, International Day, Winter Concerts, Art/Music Docent Program, Sight Word Busters, STEAM and Globe Programs, educational field trips, fundraising, and other classroom activities.
