Principal's Welcome
Dear Students and Parents,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you've had a rejuvenating summer break. I am thrilled to welcome you back to another exciting and promising school year that officially begins on August 16th, 2023.
First, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Christy Aday and I am so very excited to join the Skyridge community as your principal. I am delighted to be back in my community, with this new opportunity to work at Skyridge, a school where my own children were served so well.
Teacher assignments will be posted and available on the Aeries Parent Portal only for families that have completed the yearly data confirmation starting August 14th. WE WILL NO LONGER BE SENDING PERSONAL EMAILS REGARDING YOUR CHILD’S CLASS ASSIGNMENT. You are welcome to attend Popsicles with the Principal and Chalk the Walk on August 15th between 4:00 - 5:00pm, to tour the campus prior to school starting. Our school office officially opens on August 2, 2023. The office is open from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to drop by during these hours.
Communication is vital to a successful educational experience. Parents are encouraged to contact me throughout the year with any questions or concerns. You can do so by emailing me at caday@auburn.k12.ca.us or calling the school office. Your feedback and involvement are integral to our collective success.
Our bell schedules and calendars will be available on our school website Skyridge Elementary. This will provide you with detailed information about the daily schedule and academic calendar for the year, for all grades. Lastly, it is crucial that we have your current contact information on file. We use your contact information in Aeries for our communication, so please ensure your details are up-to-date.
