Hello Skyridge Families!

What a fantastic week at Skyridge! Our 5th Grade Pacmanian Arcade was a huge success—thank you to our amazing 5th grade students, teachers and parents for creating this event for our school community. It was such a joy to see students designing and running their own arcade games, and the energy and excitement from all the visitors made it an unforgettable event - I never cease to be amazed at the creativity on display!

We also welcomed many new faces to campus at our TK/Kindergarten Round-Up. It was wonderful to meet so many future Falcons and their families. Thank you to our TK/Kindergarten team for creating such a warm and welcoming experience for our incoming students.

And, our week didn’t stop there! We held our April SOARing Assembly, celebrating students who demonstrate our school expectations - Say It, Own It, Act It, Respect It, across our campus. Boys soccer and girls volleyball teams had games this week, bringing their skills and sportsmanship to the field and court. Our drama students are in the final stages of rehearsal for their upcoming performances, and our band students are gearing up for the Forum Music Festival just around the corner. With all of this happening in one week, it’s easy to see just how vibrant and busy our school truly is!

As we look ahead, state testing begins next week for students in grades 3–8. We’ve been preparing students to give their best effort and to feel confident and calm. Families, your support is essential: please help your student by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time and ready to go. These assessments help us understand how well we’re supporting student growth and where we can continue to improve.

Thank you for being an incredible school community - we are in the home stretch, and are excited for all that’s still to come!
